This policy explains the warranty coverage on Whispering Homes products, how to make a claim, and how to care for your lighting and décor pieces.

Warranty Coverage

All Whispering Homes products carry a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of delivery. This covers defects in materials or workmanship under normal household use — it does not cover damage from accidents, misuse, incorrect electrical installation, or unauthorised repairs.

What's Not Covered

  • Breakage from accidental drops or mishandling
  • Damage from voltage fluctuation or incorrect electrical installation
  • Normal wear and tear, fading, or discolouration over time
  • Products altered or repaired by unauthorised technicians
  • Dried flowers, pampas, and grasses, which are excluded from warranty given their delicate, perishable nature

How to Make a Warranty Claim

  1. Email customersupport@whisperinghomes.com or call/WhatsApp +91-86956-00000 with your order number and a description or photo of the issue.
  2. Our team verifies the defect and confirms eligibility.
  3. Approved claims are resolved via repair, a replacement part, or a product replacement, depending on the issue.

Are Your Lighting Fixtures Compatible with Home Wiring?

Yes — our lighting fixtures are designed to work with standard Indian home electrical systems. We currently don't offer installation services, so we recommend hiring a licensed electrician for wall lights, chandeliers, and ceiling fixtures.

Product Care Guidelines

Lighting: Switch off and unplug before cleaning. Dust regularly with a soft, dry microfiber cloth and avoid wet wiping electrical parts. Use only the recommended bulb wattage from the product manual.

Brass & Metal Décor: Wipe with a dry, soft cloth to prevent tarnishing. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners and prolonged moisture exposure.

Ceramic & Glass Décor: Clean with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive scrubbing that could chip the surface.

Dried Botanicals: Keep away from direct sunlight and humidity to preserve colour and shape. Dust gently with a soft brush — never with water.
