01What is it made of?
The Nirvik Brass Cloche with Glass Dome is made of brass, with a polished gold finish.
02What size is it?
It measures Base Ø 32 cm · dome Ø 25 × H 14 cm. See the dimension photo in the gallery for exact measurements.
03Will the finish fade or tarnish over time?
The finish is made to stay bright with simple care. Like all brass, it can darken slightly over time in humid spaces; a regular wipe with a soft, dry cloth keeps it looking new.
04How do I clean and maintain it?
Wipe with a soft, dry cloth after use. For marks, use a barely damp cloth with a drop of mild soap, then dry straight away. Avoid abrasive scrubbers, harsh chemicals and soaking.
05Can I serve food in it?
Yes, it is made for serving. Dry foods like fruit, dry fruits, sweets and snacks are ideal. For wet, oily or acidic foods, use a liner or a small glass or ceramic dish inside, and wash and dry it soon after.
06Can I use it for hot food or drinks?
It is best for dry and room-temperature food. For hot or liquid dishes, place them in a separate bowl or dish on top.
07Will it scratch wood or glass surfaces?
Brass is smooth, but like any metal it can mark delicate wood or glass if dragged. Lift rather than slide it, or place a runner or coaster underneath.
08Is it suitable for gifting or festive use?
Yes. Brass is a meaningful, long-lasting gift for Diwali, housewarmings, weddings and anniversaries, and it looks beautiful on a festive table.
09Can I use it purely for display?
Absolutely. It is just as beautiful styled empty on a console, shelf or sideboard as it is in use.
