FAQs
FAQs
- Is the bulb socket compatible with energy-saving or CFL bulbs?
- Can I change the hanging cable color to match my ceiling?
- Does the glass have any optical distortion or magnifying effect?
- How close to the ceiling can this be installed?
- Does the brass finish tarnish or change color over time?
- Is there glare when looking up directly at the bulb?
- Is this fixture suitable for sloped or vaulted ceilings?
Yes, many pendant fixtures support standard E27 or E26 sockets, which are commonly used for CFL and energy-saving bulbs.
Some models offer interchangeable cables or can be customized by replacing the cord with one that suits your interior scheme.
Certain glass domes can create slight visual distortions or reflections depending on their thickness and curvature, which adds a decorative touch.
The drop length is typically adjustable, but it can't be fully flush with the ceiling. Ideal minimum clearance is 10–12 inches for visual balance.
Quality brass finishes are treated to resist tarnishing, but over years, slight patina or aging may occur, which many consider a desired vintage look.
Since the bulb is exposed, some glare is possible. Using frosted or low-glare bulbs can reduce discomfort when viewing the light directly.
Yes, if it hangs from a flexible cord, it can be installed on angled ceilings without the need for extra adapters or fittings.
